    Strafford Police Department will crack down on Child Restraint violations. Missouri law requires children under Eight to be buckled up and children under eight to be in an appropria te child safety seat or booster seat unless they are 80. Lbs or 4'9" tall.
    STRAFFORD police Dept. announced today they are joining with law enforcement September 14-20 for an aggressive Child Passenger Safety Week Law Enforcement Campaign to crack down on Missouri child safety seat violators.

New Police Chief

 

                                    Welcome  Police Chief Shook

 

The Strafford Board of Aldermen voted unanimously to confirm the appointment of Dennis Shook to the position of Chief of Police at the regular Board meeting September 2, 2014.

Chief Shook brings 25 years of experience from the Springfield Police Department, having retired earlier this year. He brings the skills of a metropolitan police department force to a small town police force. He is a graduate of the Strafford R-VI  Schools and lives nearby which makes him familiar with our community.

Chief Shook will begin duty September 8, 2014.

We welcome him to the Strafford Team.
