NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Public Hearing will be held by the Board of Aldermen of the City of Strafford, at 6:45 P.M. on Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at City Hall, 126 S. Washington, Strafford, MO on the proposal from Strafford Public Schools to change McCabe Street to a westbound one way street from Washington Street to Old Orchard Street. At this public hearing all interested persons may appear and will be given the opportunity to be heard either in support or in opposition to the petition.

The City of Strafford will be having a parade on Monday, July 4th, at 10:00 a.m. to celebrate Independence Day. Floats and other entries can pre-register starting June 13th by calling Kandace at City Hall (417) 736-2154 or emailing her at firstname.lastname@example.org or you can register at 9:00 a.m. the morning of the parade. Plan those entries now so we can have an awesome parade!
The parade route will be shorter this year due to construction at the school. The parade will come from the school on McCabe, down Washington, along Pine and back up Jefferson to McCabe.

The City of Strafford is preparing to make improvements to our City Parks to make room for playing fields for Youth softball. If there are volunteers that would like to organize a league, we would love your input on what you would like to see at the parks.
