The Strafford Board of Aldermen voted unanimously to confirm the appointment of Dennis Shook to the position of Chief of Police at the regular Board meeting September 2, 2014.
Chief Shook brings 25 years of experience from the Springfield Police Department, having retired earlier this year. He brings the skills of a metropolitan police department force to a small town police force. He is a graduate of the Strafford R-VI Schools and lives nearby which makes him familiar with our community.
Chief Shook will begin duty September 8, 2014.
We welcome him to the Strafford Team.
Mayor Susan Krieger
