Court Costs and Fines
We do not accept electronic court fees and fines through the city’s website. As long as your charge does NOT require a court appearance you may pay fines and court costs, by mail to arrive before the court date or hand delivered to the Court Clerk’s office. Otherwise, you must appear before the judge.You may pay your fine with check, money order, cash, debit or credit card. There is a 3% convenience fee when using a debit or credit card either by phone or in person. Please make checks out to Strafford Municipal Court.

Following are payment options available to you for your fines and costs.

You may pay be mail, check, or money order at any time before your court date.

You may pay in person by cash, check, money order or credit card Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the address above. You may also call to make a credit card payment at the number listed above. Please note there is a 3% convenience fee for credit cards.

You may pay online by going to www.courts.mo.gov

Then click on PAYMENT$ and then click on either the Pay After Going to Court or Plead and Pay box.

You will then be taken to a screen to search for your ticket. In the Select Court box, choose the drop down arrow and select 31st Judicial Circuit (Greene County). In the Case Number Box enter your ticket number. You will find your ticket number in the upper right area of your citation. Then click Find.

Please note that some cases require an appearance in court and will not be available for online transactions. Payments made online do not require a court appearance.
