The Strafford Police department will pick up a dog at large and take it to the impound.
To view dogs that have been picked up, call Diane at 417-736-2154 to make an appointment.
If your dog has been impounded contact Diane to make arrangements to get your dog released.
Prior to release
Payment for impound fees, proof of rabies vaccination and if you live in the city limits, your must license your dog. If you do not have proof of rabies vaccination, we will have your dog vaccinated.
Daily impound fee $10.00
Rabies vaccination $45.00.
Dog License $5.00 (spayed or neutered) $10.00 (un-spayed or un-neutered) a license is required for dogs being released to anyone living within the city limits of Strafford.
